BASIC COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS
- Computer with CD-ROM and Windows 95 or newer, or Mac OS 7.1 or higher, operating system
- Internet Access with one of the following browsers:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer: version 5.0 to 6.0
- Netscape Navigator: version 7, 4.5x, 4.6x, and all versions of 4.7 except 4.78 (Version 4.78 and 6.0 not officially supported)
This course will be delivered using WebCT, an on-line course delivery tool. Should you decide to register for a course, please take a moment to check and see that you have a supported version of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. See the WebCT Browser Tune-up page for requirements. You only need to check your browser cache and Java settings - you do not need to download the plug-ins unless requested to do so by your instructor. If you have taken a WebCT course previously, in most instances your existing account will be given access to this course on the first day of class. If you have never taken a WebCT course, you will receive your unique login account prior to the first day of class.
Please note that Netscape Navigator version 6.0 is not yet recommended (4.76 is the best version of netscape to use with WebCT at MSU). Netscape Navigator 6.0 users should either plan to downgrade to version 4.7, upgrade to 7.0 or download and use Internet Explorer for their WebCT work.
